2012-2014: Intern assistant accountant
I had to do two internships for my study Assistant Accountant at Summa College. From July 2012 to July 2013, I did an internship at Europe Metals. From February to July 2014, I did an internship at Gerrekens Accountants. These internships showed that the accountancy profession did not fit my outlined future image.
2011-2013: Founder
In high school, I had created an online mafia game. BecomeMafia.com was an online text-based browser game for children aged between 12 and 18. The game averaged about 1,000 active players, 200,000 page views and 500 unique visitors per day. Due to in-game microtransactions and some revenue from affiliate marketing, the mafia game had become a small business at one point. From then on, I became interested in entrepreneurship within the digital world.
