2024-Present: Founder

In March 2024, I founded IkHebEenLabel.nl. Through this platform, I aim to offer a space where individuals can openly discuss their mental health, seek support, and learn from one another. We’ve cultivated a community grounded in empathy, understanding, and the transformative power of shared experiences, which are central to all our endeavors.

2021-2022: Product Developer

From December 2021 to November 2022, I worked as a Product Developer at Gritd, an organisation aiming to help more startups grow into scale-ups. My role at Gritd was to make the training courses more known to the target audience such as startup mentors, programme managers and investors. I was also responsible for marketing reports that allow you to track the growth of startups and I helped facilitate accelerator programmes for entrepreneurs. My blog contains an extensive explanation of why I chose to work at this company.

From January 2020 to December 2021, I worked as a Venture Builder within DSG. With this job title, I was responsible for developing new business models in the home renovation industry together with the innovation team. We did this by coming up with concepts and testing them rapidly with the target audience.

2019-2020: Webcare Agent

From July 2019 to December 2019, I worked as a Webcare Agent at ASEGA. As part of this part-time job, I managed the social media channels of several large shopping malls every weekend.

From July 2019 to December 2019, I was working part-time as an Online Marketer at planjeuitje.nl, a website with blog articles about weekend trips in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. As Online Marketer, I helped this website to get more visitors to the website.

2019-2019: Growth Hacker

From June 2019 to September 2019, I worked as a Growth Hacker at Mental Health Warriors, which is a startup that aims to tackle burn-outs through an artificially intelligent chatbot. As a Growth Hacker, I thought about techniques to grow the startup with the least possible marketing budget.

2019-2019: Intern Startup Development

From January 2019 to July 2019, I worked as a Startup Development intern at BW Ventures. I helped host growth hacking workshops, guide innovation projects at corporates and grow startups through the pre-accelerator and accelerator programme. I worked at Opvallers in Eindhoven for about three years. I had a side job here as a promoter.

2017-2017: Co-Founder

From February to October 2017, I worked with four classmates on startup Jopper. We had received an investment worth €15,000 in the form of a pre-accelerator programme at BW Ventures. Ultimately, we did not pursue the startup because there were too few ambitions to become an employment agency.

2012-2014: Intern assistant accountant

I had to do two internships for my study Assistant Accountant at Summa College. From July 2012 to July 2013, I did an internship at Europe Metals. From February to July 2014, I did an internship at Gerrekens Accountants. These internships showed that the accountancy profession did not fit my outlined future image.

2011-2013: Founder

In high school, I had created an online mafia game. BecomeMafia.com was an online text-based browser game for children aged between 12 and 18. The game averaged about 1,000 active players, 200,000 page views and 500 unique visitors per day. Due to in-game microtransactions and some revenue from affiliate marketing, the mafia game had become a small business at one point. From then on, I became interested in entrepreneurship within the digital world.
